The History of C.A. Petracca Jr. Inc.

C.A. Petracca Jr. Inc. was founded in 1972 by Carmino "Butch" Petracca Jr. Butch grew up in the flooring business working in his family's flooring stores Petracca Carpet and Bud's Carpet and tile in the late 60's and early 70's. They did a great deal of commercial and residential work throughout the Central and South Florida area. Many of Butch's family members are in the flooring business today including Butch's cousin Steve who owns a wood flooring installation and re-finishing company in Massachsetts.

In 2001 C.A. Petracca Jr. Inc. opened their retail showroom in historic downtown Lake Mary Florida. The comapny has grown by leaps and bounds since that time and have expanded the showroom to accomidate the growing needs of the designers, builders and homeowners that C.A. Petracca Jr. Inc. works with.

James has been the lead installer for C.A. Petracca Jr. Inc. for over 15 years and his expertise and attention to detail is unmatched. Robert Brown joined the company 2000 and was the showroom manager and product specialist. Robert resigned his position in 2010 to care for his son but is still involved in the website design for CAPjr Flooring.

In 2009 C.A. Petracca Jr. Inc. launched the website www.reinventyourhome.net. This website consists of several businesses that joined forces to provide assistance to customers that are considering re-modeling projects in their home. All of the businesses and contractors featured have worked together on various projects over the years and can combine their services to make your project easier to complete with less problems.
